Many of us have experienced that nagging feeling that we aren’t quite as capable as others perceive us to be, or that our success is purely a result of luck rather than our own hard work. This workshop dives into the "imposter phenomena," exploring why these feelings of self-doubt often arise during major life transitions, like starting college or entering a new career. We will discuss the common signs of feeling like an "outsider" in your field and provide practical strategies to help you internalize your achievements and build genuine confidence. Join us to learn how to silence that inner critic and recognize the value you truly bring to the table.

Meet Brianda
My name is Brianda Diaz de Leon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. I am therapist and co-founder at I AM Therapy. I am a neurodivergent Mexicana and part of the LGBTQA+ community. As a child immigrant and first gen college grad, I understand the complexities of navigating spaces that were not created for us or with us in mind and the toll this can take on our mental health. It is my mission and passion to provide accessible mental health services to other members of my communities.
As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe space to facilitate your healing and self discovery. Therefore, my style of therapy is person centered, trauma informed and strengths based. I want to collaborate with you on finding a balance in life that allows you to thrive and experience hope and joy.nI began my journey as a social worker by obtaining a Masters of Science in Social Work in 2015. I later obtained my clinical license and became trained in EMDR. My experience in advocacy, case management and community mental health informs my clinical work in my private practice. I specialize in working with young adults and adults who struggle with symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, complex trauma and adjustment issues.
When I’m not therapy-ing, I enjoy chill days with my partner and our cats. I'm very much of a home body and enjoy slow days. But when I do venture out, I really like camping and enjoy live music, specially if it's outdoors!
